The
Lehigh Valley Literary Review (LVLR) provides a forum for
worthy literary voices, regardless of style, and promotes creative
discussion by publishing distinctive essays, fiction, nonfiction,
scriptwriting, book reviews and poetry.  This mix of genres exposes
readers to a range of literary experiences.  The LVWA believes
that providing such a journal will benefit the community. We will
published the second issue in July, 2007.  The Morning Call wrote
an article regarding the
LVLR on March 18, 2007.  If you would

here.

The
LVLR's format is 8.5 W x 5.5 H inches, stapled, with an
estimated length of 70 pages.  A typical issue includes 5 pieces of
fiction, 20 poems, 1 nonfiction piece, and short book reviews.

We are accepting submissions from Berks, Bucks, Carbon, Lehigh,
Monroe, Northampton and Schuylkill Counties in PA.

Submissions for
LVLR Volume 5- deadline is November 30, 2008:

poetryandscriptwriting@lvwa.info
fiction@lvwa.info

We acquire the contents of the journal through a normal submission
process and by aggressively soliciting manuscripts from new and
talented writers whose work we may have seen in our workshops or
admired elsewhere.  No work, with the exception of a few short book
reviews, will be preselected; nor will solicited work receive special
consideration.  Rather, all manuscripts, whether requested or
solicited, will undergo the same editorial process, solely judged on
their literary quality.
